What were the initial steps?
The young Flink team successfully secures ERGON as the marketer for the Flink System.
The ergonomic backpack system aligns perfectly with the expansion strategy of the German bike specialist, ERGON.
Awarded with various design and innovation prizes, the backpacks transform ERGON from a provider of bike grips into an ergonomics specialist with a range of products.
2006 ERGON
Other customers take notice of Flink, including SKROSS, who had already seen success with their functionally compelling 2-pin travel adapter.
The task for the young developers: navigate through a jungle of international standards to create a 3-pin variant of the adapter with an appealing design.
Curdegn and Remo dive into this complex challenge, designing, shaping, optimizing, and overseeing the industrialization process until it was ready for mass production. They created one of the world’s best-selling travel adapters, still available unchanged in stores today – a benchmark in design.
2007 SKROSS
THE GRADUATION PROJECTS SERVE AS A SPRINGBOARD AND STARTING POINT FOR CHALLENGING AND ENLIGHTENING PROJECTS. OVER THE YEARS, MUCH EXPERTISE IS ACCUMULATED, AND VALUABLE PARTNERSHIPS ARE FORMED.
Gema is a global leader in powder coating solutions. In 2009, we were given the opportunity to design initial concepts for this innovative company.
Over the years, we’ve completely redesigned their entire product range, including:
- Handheld devices, powder carts, automatic guns,
- Facility design and corporate identity,
- Control devices and operating elements,
- UX design and process workflows.
Engaging in comprehensive product development alongside Gema’s engineers and product specialists is a task we passionately embrace.
2009 GEMA
We’re developing a multifunctional construction site solution for Geberit. In collaboration with electronics specialists, we’re designing a compact, extremely robust, easy-to-use, and above all, practical pipe welding device for plumbing professionals.
Together with our production partners in Asia, we develop and manufacture the durable casing, robust textile components, absorbing foam inserts, water-protected cooling unit, and sophisticated EMC shielding.
Thousands of these devices are now on the market – from Saudi Arabia to Siberia, performing flawlessly in the field for over a decade without significant defects.
2011 GEBERIT
In collaboration with Bemer’s specialists, we’re crafting sophisticated veterinary medical solutions.
These projects are intriguing for several reasons. They demand high levels of ergonomics and usability. Moreover, incorporating electronic components like control devices and complex coils into textiles adds another layer of challenge to development and production.
Beyond the veterinary line, we also design and manufacture for Bemer’s Human line, which, with its medical certification, imposes further demands on our development and production services.
